Why take this course?
Economics being the mother of all the social sciences and management, it comes closest to the understanding of the practical life of humans. The growth and power of the economies of the world may be explained and would also depend on the intellect of the economists. Hence economists have the privilege in their hands in shaping the future of the world. The number of young economists being produced by the shrinking number of centre’s of excellence is far from adequate to meet the rapid growth of demand for high-quality professionals from the public and private sectors, in addition to meeting the needs of universities for teaching and research. It is in this context that Jain University came forward to establish PG department of Economics in 2009.
The minimum qualification required to apply is a bachelor’s degree in respective discipline from a recognized University.
